Kadoma Central Legislator Pays Courtesy Call On City’s Mayor

The recently sworn-in Kadoma Central Member of Parliament, Hon Gift Mambipiri, accompanied by Senator Hon Edith Matamisa, has paid a courtesy call at the offices of the recently-elected City of Kadoma mayor, Cllr Nigel Ruzario.

In an interview after meeting the city’s mayor, Hon Matamisa said that the visit was to congratulate the mayor and to give him some  advice of the difficulty times that lie ahead.

“We are here as Citizen Coalition for Change leadership in Kadoma, the party which is in control of Kadoma in Parliament and local authority – where we have a majority – to congratulate him and give advice to our city father.

“This was to strengthen him ahead of a rough terrain and difficult times that lie ahead as residents expects quality service delivery of the highest order, and we have advised him to have an open- door policy and not discriminate any residents regardless of political affiliation,” said Hon Matamisa.

The City of Kadoma has 22 councillors with the Citizen Coalition For Change having 17  and Zanu PF with five.
