Kadoma ZR Police Summons 25 Vehicle Drivers and Owners Over Traffic Offences

The Kadoma Zimbabwe Republic Police has summoned 25 drivers or vehicle owners in and around Kadoma to report to Kadoma Central Traffic Section or nearest Police Station in connection with picking up passengers at undesignated places and blocking the smooth flow of traffic within the city’s Central Business District.

According to Kadoma Crime Watch, Kadoma police listed 25 vehicles, mainly Honda Fit for violating traffic offences during pick hours at Corner Baker Street and Herbert Chitepo Avenue.

“Above is a list of motor vehicles captured on camera whilst static at a dangerous position, precisely they were loading from the middle of the road at Spar.

If you recognize any please advise driver or owner to report at the nearest Police Station in Kadoma District

,least we shall come after him or her”

The traffic offences were recorded between the period of 13 May up to 18 May 2026

Baker Street/Hebert Chitepo Avenue has become a danger to motorists as mushikashika Honda Fit drivers have made the intersection their picking and dropping of passengers,thereby making traffic congestion order of the day.

Recently the government mooted the idea of putting AI cameras on some intersections to tame the traffic jungle that has crept in some drivers mainly mushikashika and commuter omnibus drivers.

The blitz on mushikashika operations is a welcome move by Kadoma ZR Police as the Regularatory body try to tame the menace along Herbert Chitepo Avenue
