CAB3 — Killer Zivhu says stop waiting for Chamisa to save you

Zanu PF official Killer Zivhu has urged critics of the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3) to stop expecting Advocate Nelson Chamisa to lead opposition to the controversial legislation.

In a statement posted on X over the weekend, Zivhu questioned why those who oppose CAB3 continue to direct their frustrations at Chamisa instead of taking action themselves.

He said, “Those who are talking about Chamisa, this and that, and those who want to protest against CAB3, why don’t you do it yourself? The State House is in town.”

Zivhu argued that people who genuinely want to demonstrate against the constitutional changes should organise and participate in protests on their own rather than waiting for Chamisa to take the lead.

“If you truly want to demonstrate, go there and protest. Leave Chamisa alone and let him focus on his own beliefs,” he said.

His remarks come as debate over CAB3 continues to divide opinion, with critics calling for public resistance while others question the role opposition figures should play in responding to the constitutional amendments. *_-ZimEye_*
