Family of UK-based slain mother and daughters set up GoFundme for their funeral
The family of the woman who, along with the her daughters, was slain by her husband have set up a GoFundme for their funeral.
Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, and her daughters Natalie, 15, and Nala, five, were found dead by police in a house in Great Denham, near Bedford, on 6 July. Her husband Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma is the main suspect in their death.
Now the family have set up a GoFundme campaign, saying:
We as the family of the deceased have authorised our Aunt Sharon Khumalo to establish set up and manage this GoFundMe campaign on our behalf and to coordinate the funds raised ensuring also that rules, regulations and transparency is complied with.
Following numerous enquiries and requests from Nothabo, Natalie and Nala’s friends, family members, schoolmates, alumni, members of various communities known to them and general well-wishers who have been moved by this horror. We the Khumalo/Magonya Families have considered and agreed to the opening of a GoFundMe campaign being requested.
Access to the deceased funds is proving complex and lengthy given the circumstances of their passing hence the need for funds to lay them to rest in a timely manner.
The family says any support received will immediately assist with repatriation, burial and other related expenses as they prepare to bring the trio to Zimbabwe from the United Kingdom.
