Nitazie FC Invests in the Future With Brand New Team Bus
By Azriel Chimeno
Nitazie FC, a club formed this year, marked a major milestone on Sunday with the official unveiling of its brand new team bus. The event brought together players, technical staff, club executives, sponsors, and supporters in what is already being hailed as the club’s biggest off-field achievement so far.
The bus was presented to the players at the Club’s Offices before embarking on a symbolic first trip to Waverly Community and then on to Rimuka Stadium, where Nitazie hosted Barca Kadoma. For a team in its inaugural year, the bus represents more than transport — it’s a statement of ambition, professionalism, and a commitment to building for the future of Kadoma.
The ceremony took place on Sunday at the Club’s Offices, with the bus officially handed over to the players in the presence of club officials and sponsors. Wrapped in Nitazie’s signature club colors with the club crest boldly displayed, the bus was welcomed with cheers before setting off on its maiden voyage.
From the offices, the team bus first made its way to Waverly Community, giving residents a chance to see the new addition, before proceeding to Rimuka Stadium for the match against Barca Kadoma. The arrival of the branded bus at the stadium drew applause from fans and highlighted how quickly Nitazie FC is establishing its identity in Kadoma.
As a new club, Nitazie FC has had to build structures from the ground up. Until now, the team relied on hired transport for matches and training, which came with delays and extra costs.
Club officials say owning a dedicated bus will bring stability. It will improve punctuality, comfort, and team unity, while giving both players and technical staff reliable movement throughout the season.
Speaking to the Media, Club President Joseph Wasu Nemakanga said:
“This is the beginning of the investment for the project. As a team we are building for the future, and this bus is the first major step in that journey,” he said
“This team was formed for Kadoma, and so is this bus. It belongs to the people of Kadoma. We want every child in this city to look at this bus and believe they can also be part of Nitazie FC one day,” he added
Club Chairperson Faston Maruza expressed his delight: “We are building for the future. The acquisition of this bus is the beginning of the team’s plans. It shows we are serious about growth on and off the pitch,” he noted
Secretary General Shambolinked the bus to the club’s vision and said, “The team is moving with its vision. The team bus is part of our programme and will be used by the players and technical staff for easy movement. This is professionalism in action,” he said.
The acquisition of the bus was made possible through the support of key partners. The bus is proudly sponsored by Nitazie Bakery, Nitazie Hardware, Nitazie Energy and Nitazie Sportswear. Club officials thanked the sponsors for believing in the vision and investing in a club that is only months old.
With growing community support, the club has already begun upgrading training, kits, and now transport. Officials also noted the branding value — a Nitazie FC bus traveling through Waverly, Rimuka, and across Kadoma acts as a moving billboard, raising the club’s profile and inspiring young players.
The message from President Nemakanga, Chairperson Maruza, Secretary Shambo, the Club Director and the entire Nitazie family is clear: the foundation is being laid now. Nitazie FC is investing today to compete tomorrow, and the journey has only just begun.
