Nadia Nakai and Cape Town nightclub boss Joel Booysen – son of alleged Sexy Boys gang boss Jerome “Donkie” Booysen – have fuelled speculation that they’re more than just friends.

 

This, after he posted a cozy video of them together on TikTok.

 

Nadia – whose boyfriend AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, was shot dead almost a year ago – is currently holidaying in Barbados.

 

NADIA NAKAI DATING NIGHTCLUB BOSS?

In a video posted on his TikTok account, Joel Booysen shared a clip of him seated next to Nadia Nakai in what appeared to be a nightclub.

 

In it, he blows kisses to Nadia, who does the same in return. The duo suggestively lean into each other and smile for the camera.

 

Joel captioned the clip: “Family”, alongside a heart emoji.

 

But while it could just be a friendly exchange, Joel liked a comment that read: “Y’all wouldn’t look bad as a couple.”

Other comments under the post read: “Love lives here” and “Look out for her, please.”

 

Joel – who is the owner of clubs Sneaker Cartel and Jet Lounge – invited the rapper to perform at one of his venues late last year.

 

And he’s no stranger to the girlfriend of AKA. Last month, Joel posted an old clip of him out and about with AKA. He captioned the clip: “It’s been ten months already, fam.” He used both AKA and Nadia Nakai’s names in his hashtags.

Nadia – who has previously dated Vic Mensa and Bandile Mhere – has not confirmed any rumours about her dating life.

 

SON OF GANG BOSS SURVIVES A HIT

Meanwhile, Nadia Nadia’s alleged new boo Joel Booysen is no stranger to controversy.

 

According to IOL, the son of the alleged Sexy Boys gang boss survived two attempted hits last year, reportedly from rival gangs.

 

On social media, users have accused Joel of being involved in illegal activities.

 

Responding to a TikToker who claimed he had “drug money, blood money, built on other people’s hardships,” Joel insisted he was “self-made.”

 

He responded: “I’m my own boss. I own a successful club and have successful events. I generate an income from there. Don’t be bitter.
