Zimbabwe police recover 32 cattle in Mozambique

THE Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has recovered 32 cattle stolen from Zimbabwe in Mozambique.

In a statement on Monday, Police Spokesperson, Coommioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the recovery and said the cattle were stolen in Zamuchiya, Chipinge district and were recovered in Mamutse, Mozambique, following a joint operation by police from the two countries.

The owners who are villagers of Mufukwa village in Chipinge positively identified the cattle.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police will continue to collaborate with Mozambican authorities in tackling cross border-crimes,” Commissioner Nyathi said.
