Gogo Maweni reveals rituals done by slay queens for money

South African traditional healer Gogo Maweni — real name Makgotso Lee-Anne Mokopo — is one of the country’s most popular traditional healers.

She is also very controversial. When she isn’t discussing turning people into tokoloshes, she is playing with snakes and taking midnight strolls in graveyards.

Last year, she shared a clip of herself with a snake curled around her neck.

Undoubtedly, she is one of the few celebrity sangomas who have opened up about rituals done by slay queens to make a fortune and lure people.

In the now-viral teaser, she said: “Many perform rituals, both men and women and all those rituals involve s**. You need to understand that everything that you achieve in darkness will always have consequences.

She revealed that animals like snakes are involved in these rituals. “A snake is the one that will sleep with all the men that she will be sleeping with for money, so she is feeding the snake with all those men,” she added.
