In a move to address the growing concerns of illegal connections within the city’s water supply system, the Kadoma City Council has established an investigation team to probe the matter. This comes after allegations surfaced that a council worker was involved in illegal connections, prompting the council to take swift action.
In an exclusive interview with our publication, Kadoma City Mayor, His Worship Councilor Nigel Isheunesu Ruzario, confirmed the development. “We take these allegations very seriously, and we will leave no stone unturned in getting to the bottom of this matter,” Mayor Ruzario stated.
The investigation team, comprised of experts from various fields, will work tirelessly to uncover the truth behind the illegal connections. “We want to assure our residents that we are committed to transparency and accountability. Those found guilty will face the full force of the law,” the Mayor emphasized.
Mayor Ruzario reiterated the council’s commitment to good governance and assured residents that the investigation will be thorough and impartial. “We will not tolerate any form of corruption or misconduct within our ranks. We owe it to our residents to ensure that our services are delivered with integrity and transparency.”
The investigation is expected to be completed within a reasonable timeframe, and the council has promised to keep residents informed of any developments. As the city waits with bated breath for the outcome of the investigation, one thing is clear – the Kadoma City Council is determined to root out corruption and ensure that justice is served.
