Strange whirlwind blows away student’s answer sheet during exam
GOKWE – A ‘strange’ whirlwind entered a classroom at Zhomba Secondary School, Gokwe North where over 30 pupils were writing their Zimsec Combined Science Paper 1 yesterday and swept a pupil’s answer sheet.
Gokwe North District Schools Inspector Douglas Samunyaka confirmed the incident to The Mirror.
He said the answer sheet was found some 500m from the classroom and the pupil continued the exam.
Samunyaka added that the pupil was affected because he was sitting by an open window.
“It is true that wind blew away a student’s answer sheet during an exam yesterday. The student was seated near the window that is why he was affected and it was nothing serious.
“They managed to find the answer sheet about 500 meters from the classroom and the student continued with exam,” said Samunyaka
